How we can work for you

East Ham campus - home of CIPsCIPs provides Learning, Skills & Enterprise Services for People and Businesses that:

  • Are highly responsive to individual, employer & community demand
  • Enable achievement & progression for all regardless of their starting point
  • Through innovation and flexibility, increase and widen participation, and lead to higher levels of success

We work closely with small businesses so they can learn new skills and increase their profitability.  We make vital training available to large companies for their staff, delivering within the college or in the workplace.  We listen to our businesses to ensure we tailor training to suit their needs, developing new qualifications to industry standards.  All this has helped us win many national awards and international accolades for our exemplary work engaging with employers.

We are recognised for our outstanding delivery of programmes for employers. Including training we provide specialist information and advice to businesses. Specialist advisors provide support in areas such as business mentoring, health checks, masterclasses, trade networks and essential business skills.

With state of the art facilities such as the Fashion and Textile Museum the knowledge hub for the fashion, textile and jewellery sectors, a Discovery Lab promoting emerging technologies, a Retail Academy and the Women’s Business Centre we provide realistic environments for learning to gain new knowledge and skills.

In addition to this, due to our successful work on the regeneration agenda and creative use of European and other funding, we have a number of bespoke business services and support programmes for businesses in East London, especially for budding women entrepreneurs. Since 1997 the Centre for Innovation and Partnerships has been successfully working with local, national and international organisations to provide innovative and practical ways of helping businesses succeed.
