Two exclusive FFB events for B&Bs

As of 4th February 2011, your business must be on the Approved Supplier List in order to supply emergency accommodation to Newham Council. You must apply online throught NECTR (Newham's Electronic Tendering Portal) if you wish to be considered for the Approved Supplier List.

Fit for Business brings you two events to help you gain a place on Newham Council’s Approved Supplier List for Bed and Breakfast and Nightly-let Accommodation.

EVENT 1: Help with applying online

Fit for Business advisers will be on-hand to help with your submission. They can read your draft submission and suggest improvements. Get a second opinion on your application from the experts before you submit it!

Date: Friday 21st January

Time: Drop in between 9am and 1pm. Please inform us what time you will arrive.

Place: Learning Waves, Newham College, High Street South, East Ham, E6 6ER

EVENT 2: Meet Newham Council’s NECTR Team

Attend to get help from Newham Council with the technical aspects of NECTR only.

NOTE: the Council are not able to assist in any way with your submission. If you need help with applying, come to the Fit for Business session on Friday 21st January.

NOTE: if you have specific questions about your submission, you can ask a questions by ‘raising a clarification’ online through NECTR.

Date: Wednesday 26th January

Time: Book a half-hour appointment with Newham Council buyer every half-hour from 9am until 1pm.

Place: Women’s Business Centre, High Street South, East Ham, E6 6ER

You can also book an appointment with one of our Fit for Business procurement and supply advisers on either of these dates. They can give you expert advice and help with any aspects of being a better supplier and how to win new contracts.
