Give someone a job and have their salary paid for six months!

Are you an employer in Social Enterprise or the Environmental sector? If so, Newham College can provide you with a candidate and pay their wages for up to six months*. The placements are being offered to young people who have been unemployed for up to a year, so you ' ll also get to help an 18  -  24 year old gain valuable experience and self confidence to get them back into work!

The scheme is made possible due to the Future Jobs Fund and aims to benefit communities and bring young people into work. The project, sponsored by Capital Enterprise with Newham College acting as project lead, will cover labour costs for 6 months (up to £6500) and the job must be for a minimum of 25 hours a week, paying no less than the UK minimum wage of £5.80 per hour
