    SIA Training – Door Supervision

    Aims of the Programme

    The programme aims to place people living in the five Olympic boroughs, Newham, Hackney, Waltham Forest, Greenwich and Tower Hamlets, on a certified training course in readiness for employment.  It is aimed at those with limited or no qualifications and experience.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Unemployed

    • 19 or over
    • Do not have a level 2 qualification
    • Resident of one of the five Olympic boroughs
    • Eligible to access public funds

    Programme outline

    The programme is aimed at job seekers expressing a desire to enter employment within the security industry.

    The programme will cover:

    SIA Training – Door Supervision

    • Employability
    • Motivational Training
    • First Aid
    • Physical Intervention

     

    Structure of the programme

    6/8 week programme

    • 2/3 days a week

    On fully completing and passing all of the course we will apply and pay for your SIA licence subject to you providing the necessary proofs required by SIA.

    At the end of the structured programme you will be required to attend drop-in sessions for job search and employability on a weekly basis until you find employment and/or your licence is granted.
