Competition Winning Entries

Thank you to everyone who participated in the European Fashion Designer Competition 2010.

We received over 25 final entries from across Europe, it took our judges several hours to select the winner and the top four runner-up designs.

Our judging panel consisted of Zandra and her team, fashion design specialists, and Head Curator of the Fashion and Textile Museum.  The panel was extremely impressed with the high quality of all of the entries, fantastic illustrations and the level of detail provided.

Zandra said "It took us a while, but we found a winner who met with the competition brief, applied a modern twist whilst still considering the manufacturing requirements.  It was a shame we could only select five designs."

We are very pleased to announce the winning entry:

- IED Moda Lab, Milan, Italy - War of the Roses

the four runners-up (in no order):

- Modart Fashion School Budapest - Ciel

- Modart Fashion School Budapest - DaVinci

- University of Ljubljana, Slovenia - Caught in the Wave

- IED Moda LAB, Italy - (Re)Construction

The winner will see their design manufactured and shown on a catwalk show at London's Freemasons Hall, Covent Garden in September 2010.

Runners-up design works will be displayed in a gallery during the gala event on the evening of the catwalk.
